Before shipping, please ensure your firearm is unloaded, properly packaged, and includes an order form (available by email request). We recommend using UPS or FedEx with signature confirmation. Do not ship ammunition. Handguns must be shipped overnight or with 2-day delivery. Include a copy of your State ID and, if applicable, your FFL/CHL/LTC license.

Yes. Hill Country Cerakote is a licensed FFL holder, which allows customers to ship firearms directly to our facility for coating and finishing. Please note that USPS cannot be used to ship pistols unless you are a licensed dealer.
Standard turnaround is two business days from the time your firearm is received. Guns received on Thursday are typically shipped back Monday, and guns received on Friday are shipped back Tuesday.
Yes — we prefer that firearms are sent in already disassembled. This helps reduce both cost and turnaround time, allowing our team to focus entirely on preparation and coating rather than teardown and reassembly.
Absolutely. We offer single-color, multi-color, and stencil camo patterns, as well as Gun Candy finishes. For custom multi-color or stencil work, we’ll work with you directly to ensure the design matches your preferences before coating begins.
